⚠ One thing to weigh before you lock

Coastal Teal's spark accent is coral #fb7185 — a warm color. You deliberately skipped every warm direction (coral, tangerine, amber) in the explorer. So Coastal Teal is a cool frame with a warm pop; Arctic Slate is cool all the way through (sky-blue accent). If "get away from warmth" was the point, that accent matters.

Easy fix if you love the teal frame: keep Coastal Teal but swap its coral accent for a cool one (sky/cyan). That's a third option — a blend.

My read

Arctic Slate is the safer match to your stated direction — cool top to bottom, reads "sophisticated/premium," and its slate-neutral base plays nicely against the content cards. Coastal Teal is more energetic and distinctive but the coral accent reintroduces the warmth you moved away from.

Reply with your pick and I'll lock it into the phase and move to planning.
